  • ‘Teachers Day’ is celebrated  every year on 05 September in India .
  • President Draupadi Murmu will confer  the ‘National Teachers Award 2024’ to 82 teachers at a ceremony at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on September 05.
  • A two-day ‘Global Artificial Intelligence Summit-2024’ is being organized in Hyderabad from September 05. Its theme is ‘Making AI accessible to all’. 
  • Nepal has reopened  ‘Khasa’, an important trade route with China, from September 3, which was closed for the last two weeks.
  • President Draupadi Murmu has given the power to Delhi Lieutenant Governor ‘ Vinay Kumar Saxena’ to constitute any authority, board, commission and statutory body. 
  • ‘Amrit Udyan’ located at Rashtrapati Bhavan will be open especially for teachers on the occasion of  Teachers’ Day on 5th September.
  • Deepthi Jeevanji has won the bronze medal  in the women’s 400m T20 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
  • People receiving pension under the ‘Employees Provident Fund Scheme'(EPFO) will now be able to receive their pension in any bank in any part of the country from January 1, 2025.

  • The 20th edition of ‘Yudh Abhyas’ between India and USA will begin in Rajasthan.
  • Harvinder Singh became the first Indian archer to win a gold medal at the Paralympic Games.
  • India’s first indigenous combat unmanned aircraft ‘FWD 200B’ was successfully tested.
